“I'm newer to Saskatchewan and I wouldn't have known to test for radon had it not been for the good people at the Lung Association. It's easy to fix the problem and even easier to test for it.
I have been a friend and volunteer, donating my skills as a photographer, for the Lung Association of Saskatchewan since shortly after moving to Saskatoon. I learned about radon while working on their campaigns.
After working as their photographer on their Tackle Radon Campaign, I realized I wanted to help spread awareness about radon so that those who are at risk get the help they need and prevent lung cancer. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer, and the leading cause of lung cancer in people that do not smoke. Radon can't be detected by the human senses so the only way to know home much radon is in your home is to test for it.
The Lung Association makes it so easy to test for radon, I think you'd be silly not to! ”
