“Hello! My name is Rebecca and I am the friendly voice on the phone when you call The Lung Association of Saskatchewan's office.
After joining the Lung Association of Saskatchewan as the Donor Service and Administration Coordinator, I became the point of contact for when people inquire about radon testing. Before staring in this position, I knew very little about radon and the negative effects that it can have on an individual's lung health but my knowledge and understanding of this dangerous and deadly gas has grown. Knowing the facts about how deadly radon is I could no longer ignore the potential risk to myself and my loved ones, so I am currently testing for radon in my home.
Like many other individuals who have purchased their first radon test kit I find myself anxiously waiting for the results. Do I feel a sense of fear? Yes! But knowledge is power and I know that if the numbers were to come back high, I can take the necessary steps to reduce the radon levels in my home by hiring a certified mitigation expert . As a mother and loving wife, I want to reduce the health risks to myself and those I love the most in this world.
If you have questions about radon, please contact The Lung Association and I will be happy to talk to you and answer your questions! Let me help you breathe a little easier! Test your home for radon today.”
